Streetwear Color Rich Lipstick: Berry Berry

My love for lipsticks is at an all-time high and I had splurged on this cheap yet versatile lipsticks at “Saravana Stores” and I haven’t yet finished reviewing them when another lipstick addict friend of mine recommended this shade to me and so I am recommending this shade to thousands of our IMBB readers.

The whole range is available at an unbelievable price of 140 rupees and now updated online as Rs. 160.  I believe they have so many shades to choose from and that too not many tacky reds, but very pretty nudes as well. I am amazed to see how many light and day wear shades in cream finish they have come out with. I have reviewed many shades like Pink Pie, Peachy Sizzle, Earth, Pink Fortress, etc., which are all light day wear shades without shimmer or frost.

One thing I have seen in this range is that many shades are overlapping and many of them are very light to show up and still I liked all of them.  Sometime, I feel they have been made with some leftover liquid lipsticks in the factory or something and then mixed some colors together, made into a lipstick and then named :p, and then kept at a throw away price of Rs. 140.

The color of this lipstick is actually soft brick, it’s a red-based brick for me and such shades are an all-time love for me always.  The texture of this lipstick is cream finish and hardly any shimmer or frost, but the feel to the tube is very hard. You have to swipe it on and on to get some coverage, but I think for the price and the shade, I have got no complaints.

The fading away is streaky and can be a little staining too, but not so bad.  I remove the lipstick with an oil-based remover. The color is gorgeous but feel free to swipe it at least three times and don’t expect any bursts of moisture or softness from the lipstick as you wipe it, its rather hard in texture.

This color I think would flatter many complexions. I love how this color brightens the face up.  Its a good start for first-time red lipstick users too.  I did not find it drying, but you can mix it with a lip balm too.

Last Word:

It’s a lovely brick shade for the price of Rs. 140. Don’t expect any softness in texture.  You will need to swipe it more than once to get full coverage.
