I believe everyone knows about the much raved Lancome Juicy Tubes. My today’s review is on the Lancome juicy tubes in shade “Raspberry Ice”

My experience with Lancome Juicy Tubes in Raspberry Ice :
Rauni has already reviewed juicy tubes in shade Moulin Rose here. Comes in a simple tube package and with a tube-tip applicator. I generally don’t use the tube-tip directly, as I like to keep it clean . I use a lip brush to apply. On the go, I use directly and clean it with a napkin immediately.
Raspberry reminds me of bright pinkish red shade. But it is a sheer peachy pink shade with loads of golden shimmer in it. Literally loads, that you can see that in the picture of the tube and swatch. Thank god, it did not look OOT when applied. It does not give any color as such. But gives a beautiful glossy healthy lips.

Though I have a pigmented lips, I like to apply just the gloss. Love it for the super shiny plumped lips that it gives. It can be applied over any pink or peachy lipstick. Just apply a wee bit on the middle of the lips to give a 3D effect.
It is little tick and a bit sticky which makes it stay a little longer than normal glosses. But definitely not gooey. Since it is a very sheer color, I can’t talk about the staying power of color. But the shine stays until we eat or drink anything. The shimmer particle does not settle in lip lines, after the gloss wears off.
It has a pleasant citrus smell and mild sweet taste. I should mention about the cooling effect it gives once we applied on lips. I guess it acts as a lip plumper, and thus it gives the minty cool feel.
Some lip glosses will leave the lips patchy and dry after they wear off. But this one keeps my lips moisturized well even after the lip gloss is gone.

Final Word:
/> Though I wanted to try this, I was set back by its high price tag. But finally got to try when it came in a kit. They generally come in set of 3 or more glosses for lesser price. It is better to buy during that time. If you are a gloss person, you will enjoy this. This makes a very nice evening gloss, to wear it on its own or over a lipstick to give that sexy look
