Khadi Scrub Gel Pudina Review
By Shanthi S.
Hi All,
This is my first post in IMBB and I am very excited about it. I have been a follower of the blog and I buy many products based on the reviews written here. Today, I am going to review one of the Khadi products that I have purchased recently, Khadi Scrub Gel Pudina.

My skin type is oily and that’s what made me pick this pudina scrub specifically.

Rs. 125/- for 210 ml.
Expiry Date:
24 months from the manufacturing date.
Ingredients:
Each kilogram contains:
Menthaspicata 0.3 ml; AloeVeraTourn 1 ml; SodiBiboras 6 gm; Juglansregia 5gm; Glycerin 10ml; Carbopol 10gm; Preservative 2gm; Citrus lemon 1gm; Purified water to make 1 kg.
Product Description:
An ayurvedic scrub which helps to remove blackheads and scars from the skin surface. Makes skin healthy.
Directions To Use:
Rub the scrub on face and neck. Do not rub on acne and pimples. Clean with moist cotton.
My Take on Khadi Scrub Gel Pudina:
The appearance of the container itself gave an impression that it has some goodness in it. As it is a Khadi product, I had a belief that it would do wonders and it did. The product is an algae green coloured gel with small minute particles in it. The scrubs I have used previously were not gel based. This is the first time I am using a gel scrub. It was nice to apply the scrub on the face and after 2 to 3 minutes of massage in the upward direction, 50% of the gel got absorbed into my skin. The result was awesome after I rinsed the scrub off. My face was bright as I had expected.

The best part is unlike other scrubs, this is not very harsh. There are small particles in the gel and they act as scrub. I used this scrub after using Khadi cream cleanser pudina. The cleanser made my skin super bright. After that, when I applied the scrub gel, it was very cooling. Since the scrub is very mild, I massage my entire face with the scrub. It does not damage my skin in any way.

The product did not have a strong mint or aloe vera smell. It had a mild fragrance which most people prefer. This is again a plus point. The product is so good that I am using it on a regular basis (i.e weekly once).

Pros of Khadi Scrub Gel Pudina:
- The packaging is good.
- Scrub makes the skin smooth.
- It has very mild scrub particles in the gel that helps in removing blackheads.
- The scrub is not too harsh.
- After rinsing off the scrub, the skin looks bright.
- It does not dry out the skin.
- Quantity justifies the price, 210 ml for just Rs. 125.
- It has a nozzle kind of opening and the bottle is transparent, hence you can easily control the amount and keep track of the quantity used.
- As its a gel, only a small amount is sufficient, guess the product will last for more than a year.
Cons of Khadi Scrub Gel Pudina:
- I have no idea about certain products that are listed in the ingredients list.
- Limited availability. The product is not available at all Khadi outlets.
Other than the above, I do not find any other con.
IMBB Rating:
4.5/5
Will I Buy Khadi Scrub Gel Pudina Again?
Yes, definitely I will till I find something better than this.
Do I Recommend Khadi Scrub Gel Pudina?
I would definitely recommend this scrub gel to people with oily and combination skin. People with dry skin can also use this as the product does not dry out the skin.
