These liners from Amuse were part of my haul from Cherry Culture long ago. I picked up anything and everything from there like it was the end of the world and as my hubby said “as if all shops are going to shut down tomorrow.”

I am a total lipstick addict as you know and I do like to line my lips before I wear lip color. I don’t know, maybe it’s a habit or maybe some kind of a mental block against wearing lip color on its own. I love the feel of lipstick when lined and that definitely stays longer too and bleeds lesser, though you may have to check on your lips, whether only the outline has stayed behind without any color

Since I have so many lipsticks, I think I finish off lip liners faster than I know. Since I have so many colors, some lip liners would match some or the other lipstick for sure. Another issue with me is that I like to keep my pencils always sharpened and crisp whether it is color crayon, lead pencil or lip pencils. I am obsessed with sharpening and hence I loose out on a lot of the lip pencil as a result and more so with bad lip pencils that break the tip easily. Hence, any number of lip pencils are few for me

I like the fact that these are wooden and so I can sharpen them as compared to the twist-up ones which claim to be sharp all the time, but I find them too blunt. Nevertheless, I sharpen them too with the tiny sharpener that comes along with the Lotus Herbals or Chambor eye pencils attached at the base of the twist-up pencils.
The texture of these pencils is just average, if I were to compare them, I would compare them to any wooden lip pencil around under 50 rupees, you know what I mean

It is better to apply some lip balm before using this lip pencil, otherwise it would tug very badly. It stays on like any other lip pencil and fades off after a meal leaving the lipstick to bleed a little.
The Burgundy one is a true maroon and the Sweet Rose shade is the one to die for. It’s a very pretty soft pink and I love to wear this as a stain and blend it on the lips before I use a lipstick to change the color of the lipstick.
